Annual Meeting with Kate Washington

We are happy to welcome City of Rochester Deputy Commissioner of Neighborhood and Business Development: Kate Washington.
As Deputy Commissioner, she helps identify and execute priorities that enhance neighborhoods, facilitate business growth and promote development.
The Bureau of Neighborhood and Business Development (NBD) invests in neighborhoods. This includes economic investments in businesses, housing, neighborhood associations, and supporting empowered citizens’ efforts as they play active roles in improving their communities and connecting to other neighborhoods. With a focus on increasing jobs, the City collaborates with County, State and Federal agencies to support business growth and entrepreneurship to contribute to a thriving economy.
